How to Buy and Sell
To buy a vehicle in person in an upcoming ADESA Public Auction event;
1. You must be over the age of 18 years to register,
2. Complete the Public Auction In-Lane Buyer Registration Form,
3. Have a valid passport with photo identification (photocopy will be taken),
4. Have proof of insurance (where required),
5. Provide a minimum $400 Deposit,
6. Read and acknowledge our Public Auction Policies
To buy a vehicle online in an upcoming ADESA Public Auction event;
1. Complete the Online Public Auction Buyer Registration Form from your local ADESA Public Auction,
2. An auction representative will contact you to secure a deposit and provide you with a user id and password for online bidding,
3. Log in on sale day to find your new car by clicking on the “buy online” icon and following the prompts
To sell your vehicle in an upcoming ADESA Public Auction event;
1. Contact your local ADESA Public Auction,
2. Complete the Public Auction Seller Registration Form from your local ADESA Public Auction online, or in person,
3. Print out a copy,
4. Bring it and your vehicle to the auction, preferably 48 hours or more1 before the scheduled auction event,
5. An auction representative will assist in determining the fair market value of your vehicle,
6. Come to the auction on sale day and watch the bidding activity for yourself!
1This allows the auction time to photograph and market your vehicle online as well as in the lane on sale day
